History
For over 25 years, Music for Kids, Inc., the non-profit parent corporation of Drums Along the Mohawk, has provided premier summertime entertainment by world-class drum and bugle corps.Mission
The purposes of the corporation are to manage, operate and conduct drum corps competitions and other forms of musical programs and to provide scholarships and grants to deserving individuals, groups or organizations in the music field.
DRUMS ALONG THE MOHAWK is a not-for-profit activity dedicated to promoting and supporting the musical enrichment of area youth through drum and bugle corps scholarships, grants and clinics.Tickets

As a not-for-profit youth activity, drums and bugle corps are educators for discipline, goal setting, team work, endurance and musical excellence. Average corps size is 120 members who range in age from 14-22.
The highly disciplined youth compete in approximately 50 shows per summer season, sleep on their buses or gym floors and endure rigorous practice schedules to present an exciting performance to the fans night after night.
