Four 2010 Drums Along The Mohawk Participants Are DCI Finalists

Four of the drum and bugle corps that competed at the 2010 Drums Along the Mohawk last week are now members of the elite "Top Twelve" of Drum Corps Internationals 2010 World Championships. The Cavaliers captured second place while the Bluecoats, who were the Drums Along The Mohawk champions, took third place. Santa Clara Vanguard had a seventh place finish and Madison Scouts took tenth place. Championships were held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana this past weekend. Six Tour Award Winners Announced for 2010 at Drums Along The Mohawk

Drums Along The Mohawk announced six winners for their 2010 Tour Awards at the show, Thursday, August 05, 2010. The awards are given to marching members of Drum Corps International Corps to help defray expenses for their summer tour fees. The students must: be 14-22, be a New York State resident, complete an application, write an essay (to respond to the question: Why are you involved in the drum corps activity?), and recruit a letter of recommendation. Drums Along The Mohawk began the awards in 1992.
